I choked on my green tea when i realised someone i knew liked Nakatsu more than Sano. Yes, the love. Nakatsu is such a poor chap throughout the entire story. Not developed enough, not loved enough, nothing more than a major supporting character. But talk about being a steadfast friend. Heh.
Anyway, i swear i need to stop the manga reading, more so the lousy plot-less titles. Lately i've been a magnet for lousy stories, some less than satisfactory reads that i wont bother stating. Also, i've read Demon Diary and Angel Diary today as well as finished an arc from the Get Backers series. Yayness.
Also, with chapter 50 of Ouran, i'm starting to pity Kaoru. Talk about major heartache. Ouch ouch ouch. Cant wait for 51.
Now i've 18 titles to wait for. Wow.

Kill Me Kiss Me
Stayed up to finish Kill Me Kiss Me. I'm pissed. I feel like i've wasted my time. Argh. Could've wrote another page. Speaking of which, the last chapter was intense, i think it was the best chapter in terms of emotional drive i've written. So happy about it. Hur.
Anyways, for that manhwa, the synopsis was misleading. Like WAY misleading. Was thinking that might as well clear it one-shot since it has only 5 volumes. Not to mention the first volume was cute - it followed the synopsis. Simply put, i'm pissed as the story basically had 2 plots which are VERY loosely connected.
The first one, described in the synopsis was cute, the second, was more intense. And guess the distribution ratio, 1:4. Very annoyed. Because in the second storyline where the characters seemed to be more serious and intense, i didnt like how the plot was executed. Too much story cramped into too little frames, she didnt do it well enough to carry the story. Not to mention, my feelings were cheated ! Dammit. I'm so irked i dont even want to ramble about it. RAWRRRRRRR !!!

romexjul update
As mentioned, they did some major tweaking with the story here and there. Currently, the show's been good. With the good doctor (he's named Lancelot, seriously Gonzo, you need to take a What-Is-A-Good-Name-To-Give-My-Characters class) dying in the Red Whirlwind's - aka Juliet in disguise - name, Benvolio's family being banished to the countryside and the secret savior of Juliet finally appearing, things sure look more exciting than before.
Also, notably, in episode 4, the poor rose was ousted from its' scene by a lily while - the changed the line too - also the famous balcony scene where Romeo renounced his family name now takes place upon the pegasus' back. Another thing, we see the first sign of Gonzo's budget strain with almost 15 seconds of the damn pegasus flying scene. Very uncool. Episode 4 has to be the most boring episode ever - only interesting part came in the form of Romeo realising Odin (Juliet's guy name, told you Gonzo needed classes) is Juliet.
Nevertheless, now, episode 7 has just finished loading, so pardon me while i continue to indulge myself in the not so sappy story of Romeo and Juliet.
Ps. Romeo is once again forgiven for his uselessness due to his eye-candy`ness. He better pray that no one better looking is coming in soon.
Pps. AH MAN. THAT HOT DUDE IS TYBALT. BLOODY HELL.
Ppps. I wish someone would upload the fansubbed episode of 7 faster, i'm too lazy to download it since it'll take eons but watching the original japanese version only allows me to catch fragments of the characters' lines.

Romeo X Juliet
It was as good as the trailer looked. On episode 2 now, so far so good, in fact, i like this very unorthodox adaption of the Shakespearean classic. So much that i love the two main characters now, compared to then when i always had a tendency to slap Juliet for being a whiny person and Romeo for being dumb. Besides, the music is good, the opening is a beautiful rendition of You Raise Me Up in Japanese by Lena Park.
Definitely worth a watch. Gonzo has really outdone itself this time round.

an update
Hello my dear bananas, if you're free on either of these days/interested in going for any of the following events, drop me a line ya. I'm helping to advertise/sell tickets for basically all three of my school events, so if possible, do go ya. (:
MJC Choir, 24th MAy
TPJC Runway, 25th May
TPJC Guitar, 26th May
Global Day of Prayer, 27th May
TPJC Choir, 30th May
Ps. David, i finished HanaKimi, the alternative ending was better imo. Maybe because Nakatsu got more scenes, lol.
Am tempted to color this to use as Jeshie's new wallpaper:

brute honesty.
As Siva once said, perhaps i'll learn the ills of being brutally frank sometime in the long run. Perhaps i've already experienced it. Nevertheless, i dont see a reason why i should be hypocritical about my feelings about certain issues.
I lie. About many things. I despise. Certain people. I dislike. Certain people's attitudes. Still, i do manage to tolerate. Many things, many people.
But i dont see a reason to put on a fascade to face them daily. I hate lying to myself about my feelings, about my thoughts. I do not understand why people choose to pretend to be things they are not and would never be.
I hope for the best, for myself, for the people around me. Yet, i know some things will never be, and i dont try to deceive myself by lying through my teeth about them. I dont see how sugar coating issues makes things better.
I think the people around me currently live too sheltered lives. Saying that they're living in a bubble of ideal beliefs would be too exaggerated. Perhaps they just have some smaller and somewhat twisted ideals. But before i digress, saying that people in bigger and better bubbles despise us ? How many personal encounters have you about being despised ? Being disappointed and being despised is different. So different.
Being disappointed means the person had hopes in you. Just that you failed to live up to his hopes and expectations.
Being despised means the person never believed in you in the first place.
Are we really despised ? I doubt so. Perhaps only by ourselves. After all, if you dont even have faith in yourself, how can you expect someone else to have faith in you ?
Humans are such paradoxical creatures. Wanting people to believe in something they dont even believe in the first place.
If you've disappointed or have been despised, you know what's the best thing to do, show those people how wrong they are. Since i doubt people would be bothered by disappointing me, for those who think i've despised you, show me.
Prove me wrong.
